One Little Idea
More or less.
For me, art is a way to see and connect to
the places, people, and stories around me.
I enjoy the process, celebrating the unknown, and
the balance of letting go while caring deeply.
Building Paintings
Playing with art, in pursuit of freedom from expectations, continues to spark my curiosity for
what if…
it keeps me endlessly wanting to try things
I’ve never tried and see what happens.

Recent Work from Residency in France
In July 2024, I had the privilege of participating in an artist residency through Lodestar Art School. I stayed at Le Corbusier’s remarkable Couvent de la Tourette in Evereaux, France (alongside monks still practicing daily rituals in accordance with their faith). The space itself inspired so much creativity. I felt honored to have a little room to myself to practice my own rituals of art-making.

Mind Maps & Mental Landscapes
I find myself charting my thoughts and emotional state; reviewing the layout to better understand where I've been and where I'm headed. This introspection helps me navigate challenging life territory, gain insight, and find direction. These visual maps contain fragments, landmarks, new and recycled truths. The images might reflect a fractured but functional mind, sometimes frantic, distracted, or without hope, and also full of joy, inspiration, faithful guideposts, and constant opportunities for connection (some made, some missed.)
